Bangor

SUBASE Bangor serves the Navy as a home port for the TRIDENT Submarine Launched Ballistic Missile System. SUBASE has an active environmental program consisting of a forester, fish and wildlife biologist, a part-time game warden and environmental engineers. They assist in managing 4 1/2 miles of shoreline, lakes, wetlands, and forest lands. There is fishing (fresh / salt water) and shell fishing available.
