Oak Harbor

Located on Whidbey Island, Oak Harbor is a small town escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.  Taking its name from the oak trees that line its streets and many hiking and biking trails, Oak Harbor offers much more than just its beautiful trees.  Take a dive into the water at one of the many diving centers and discover the sea creatures that reside offshore in Puget Sound.

Deception Pass is a must see, from land or water; the area has breathtaking views and is surrounded by old growth forests and an abundance of wildlife.  Get a Deception Passport that will let you kayak, jetboat, camp and shop all your troubles away.

One-of-a-kind art studios are scattered throughout the Island as well, offering paintings, sculptures, glass art, textiles, furniture, photography, theater and music.  Finally, set sail and explore the many facets to the island's coast line, take part in one of summers many races during Whidbey Island Race Week every July.
