Sedro-Woolley

Founded in 1914, the Sedro-Woolley Chamber of Commerce promoted social gatherings as well as a healthy business climate for its members. Today's Chamber of Commerce works hard to fulfill its Mission: "Partnering with the community to promote business."

Sedro-Woolley was founded on a can-do spirit brought by hard working folks as they made their way into the great forests of the area. This tradition of hard work and community was well documented by photographer Darius Kinsey whose works are on display in town and at the Sedro-Woolley Museum.  The downtown is decorated with historical murals, large cedar statues carved by chainsaw and hand finished, and attractive gas lamp replicas.

Located minutes from Interstate 5 on the banks of the beautiful Skagit River, Sedro-Woolley is midway between Vancouver, Canada, and Seattle, Washington.  Highway 20 is the gateway to the North Cascades National Park, attracting 750,000 visitors annually. The city is also served by Skagit Regional Airport.
